Outlook Exchange Recover Deleted Items

Microsoft has designed a platform for MS-Outlook, which work with and without the collaboration of the server.

Now a day’s Exchange is the priority for most business communication because it provides a lots of promoted features and Recovery from permanently deleted emails is one of them.
The reason behind it is that Exchange Server also create a copy of your emails which helps in the future recovery process.

On MS Exchange server, the deletion procedure occurs in exact same ways like MS-Outlook without Exchange

Deletion occurs when using MS Outlook with Exchange:

1.) Soft Deletion: When you right click on an email and then click on ”Delete” option your selected email go to the “Deleted Items folder” in Microsoft Outlook. In Exchange, soft deletion can recover via using simple dragging and dropping items from the desired location according to convenience as they are not completely deleted.

2.) Hard Deletion: In hard deletion the Outlook items normally bypass the soft deletion process. In it the user just Shift + Delete the emails and it get deleted permanently. But these permanently deleted emails can also be recovered, as these emails are restored in Dumpster for some retention period. The deleted retention period is normally 14 days, but you can adjust it by making any required changes in the registry.

Know the Question arises what happen when the retention period ended and you forget to retrieve the deleted emails? In such scenario, there is no manual way to recover your database items. you have to switch to a professional tool like SysTools Exchange Recovery (I don’t know very much about it so use it at your own risk).
